Inspired by Toyo Ito's Sendai Mediatheque, in particular the use of hollow columns to connect different layers of the building as well as the unique fluidity and flexibility that it creates. The developed model is consist of three main glass structures (which serve as the body of the school) and a sculptural concrete structure that elevates the massing from ground level.  

The glass structures serve as the "bridge" which connects the architecture school with the round house and the material science building on the campus
